Walking through the front door of Blue Crane Villa, you will notice a sun hat hanging from the hall tree, and on its brim is written, “Leave a Message.” This will become the perfect motto for your stay at this three-level home that welcomes guests with spacious rooms, plush beds, waterside views, and a tastefully decorated interior.On the main level is an open floor plan that connects the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen offers abundant storage, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a walk-in pantry that will tempt any midnight snacker. The farmhouse-inspired dining table seats up to ten and will become the backdrop for memorable family meals. There are also two bar stools at the adjacent counter. In the living area, binge watch your favorite shows on the flatscreen TV while reclining on the large sectional. All you need is your personal login and password. Head out the back door to enjoy the waterside view from two Adirondack-style chairs. A propane grill is also available for those who prefer to eat in.
The downstairs level provides a den with a wet bar, drink refrigerator, poker table, flatscreen TV, gas fireplace, and comfortable sectional. There are also board games stocked for a round of friendly competition. In addition, you’ll find a guest bedroom with two twin beds (each with a trundle), and a full bath. Just outside the back door, you can unfold the ping-pong table for a lakeside match, or you can follow the stone tiles down to the shoreline.
The upper level boasts a sprawling master suite with enough room for a king bed, studio daybed with trundle (perfect for a family with young children), chaise lounge, flatscreen TV, and walk-in closet. Guests with a discerning eye will appreciate the coffered ceiling that enhances the room’s distinction. The luxury continues throughout the en suite master bath with a tile floor and glass-enclosed shower, double-sink vanity with granite countertop, soaking tub, and private toilet. Plenty of natural sunlight streams in through frosted glass windows. Just down the hall are two additional guest bedrooms (a king and a queen) with flatscreen TVs, closets, and a shared full bathroom.
Just around the corner, you’ll have access to the sparkling shared pool ( available starting in April through the summer months) and a clubhouse with fireplace, kitchen, showers, and baths. Steps away is the lake, docks, and boat ramp. The Blue Crane Villa is also minutes away from plenty of local favorites and activities. Nearby is Harmony Crossing, home to popular cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. Travel north on Highway 44 to stock up at Publix, enjoy breakfast at Café 44, or try one of the blends from PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans. We also recommend visiting the historic districts of downtown Eatonton and downtown Greensboro. Both have mom-and-pop cafes, restaurants, and retail stores that are locally owned and operated. Be sure to check area events, festivals, and farmer’s markets, too!
